Hope everyone is having a great albeit wet summer. The CornBore is back and is August 21/08 at 6:00PM at the Pergola at
Zwick's Park East, at the Point. Our usual spot at Meyer's Pier is encrusted with toxins and heavy machinery, so the City offered this up.
For those not familiar with the CornBore, it is our annual run and social, heavy on the social and light on the run.
Cost is $5.00 a head, and remember, no bibs, no time, not shirts, just a fun run and lots of good food and friends. Let me know if you can make it so
we can get enough sausage and corn. Contact me here: Eric

safe and easy. We'll get a map up as soon as we can.
Volunteers are needed, please contact me if you can help.
September 23/06
Hi All,
Sorry for the delay in getting the results up. It was a great day for a run and we had a boatload of
excellent volunteers. If you thought the course was short, you are right, by 400m.
Were looking for ideas to boost the numbers in the Fall Classic. We don't seem to have a problem
getting people out for the other races through the year. Any thoughts drop me a line.
Cheers,
August 5/06
Just some notes: The Corn Bore is coming up this Thursday, contact me if you can attend.
We have the entry for the Fall Classsic up, please note we have a 4 person relay team division
this year, as well as the usual 10k and 21.1k
Cheers,
Eric
July 14/06
The Canada Day Dash was an overwhelming success. Sorry the results were
late but it had a lot to do with Linux and a bunch of Dutch relatives. The Club donated
a cool $1000 to the Canadian Scoliosis Society. Our next event is the
Corn Bore 5km, August 10, at Meyer's Pier, 6:00pm start. No bibs, no shirts, no headbands.
But wow, what a feed afterwards. $5.00 a head buys the best local corn and sausages.
Please RSVP. eric@redballradio.com.
Cheers,
Eric
May 10/06
The Spring Thaw was a great success once again. Thanks to all the great
Volunteers who helped make it a safe and well run event.
We are discussing a change in venue next year due to a marked increase
in automobile traffic on the course. Your comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Eric
